Welcome to Xpress Gate, a smart society and community management platform. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Xpress Gate mobile application, website, XIOT enabled smart home products, and associated services (collectively, “Services”), operated by Xpress Gate Technologies Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Services.
- Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. By using our platform, including XIOT smart home services, you represent that you have the authority to enter into a binding contract.
- Account and Access
To use Xpress Gate, you must create an account with accurate and complete information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activity that occurs under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information is found to be false, misleading, or a breach of these Terms.
- Use of Services
You agree to:
- Use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- Respect the privacy and rights of other residents and users.
- Not engage in any activity that could harm, disable, overburden, or impair the functioning of our platform or XIOT-enabled systems.
- Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts, smart devices, or systems.
Use of XIOT smart home devices is also subject to applicable guidelines for safe and appropriate use. These include the use of mobile apps, voice assistants, and remote control features.
- Community and Visitor Management
You acknowledge that Xpress Gate facilitates interactions between residents, security personnel, visitors, and the management committee.
You are solely responsible for approving or rejecting visitors to your residence.
We are not responsible for the conduct of any individuals within the premises, or the physical outcome of automated smart actions executed via XIOT systems (e.g., auto-unlocking, power switching).
- User Content
You may post feedback, complaints, or community updates within the platform. You are responsible for any content you upload or share.
Do not post content that is abusive, illegal, obscene, defamatory, infringing, or misleading.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates our policies or community guidelines.
- Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, software, logos, smart home integration features (including those powered by XIOT), and services provided by Xpress Gate are the intellectual property of the Company.
You may not copy, distribute, modify, reverse-engineer, or commercially exploit any part of the Services without our written consent.
- Charges and Payments
Some Services, including XIOT smart home device packages, voice skill integrations, or premium features, may be paid features or available as part of a subscription plan.
Any charges will be clearly communicated and are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.
Payment failure or disputes may result in suspension of certain Services, including remote access to smart some devices.
- Voucher Offer – ₹500 Off on XIOT Products
Customers are eligible for a limited-time ₹500 discount on all XIOT smart home products, offered by Xpress Gate Technologies Pvt. Ltd. under the following conditions:
- The voucher is valid until 18th August 2025 and can be redeemed by calling 87999 01351.
- Applicable on all XIOT products with no minimum purchase required.
- The offer is non-transferable, single-use only, and cannot be exchanged for cash or combined with any other promotion.
- Voucher redemptions are valid only on in-stock products and subject to availability at the time of purchase.
- If a product purchased using the voucher is returned, the voucher discount amount will not be refunded.
- Xpress Gate reserves the right to cancel or modify the offer without prior notice in case of misuse or unforeseen circumstances.
- Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, without prior notice, if:
- You breach these Terms or applicable laws
- We are required to do so by law or regulatory requirements
- Your society discontinues use of our Services
- You misuse XIOT-enabled features in a way that poses security or operational risk
You may also request termination of your account by contacting our support team.
- Limitation of Liability
Xpress Gate and XIOT provide digital and automated services but do not guarantee physical safety, energy savings, or the behaviour of connected devices or individuals.
We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of our Services, including smart home automation or third-party integrations.
- Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Xpress Gate, XIOT, their employees, affiliates, and partners from any claims, losses, or damages resulting from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Services or devices, or your infringement of third-party rights.
- Third-Party Services
We may link or integrate with third-party services (e.g., voice assistants, payment gateways, delivery tracking apps). We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, reliability, or services.
Integration with voice assistants and smart home ecosystems through XIOT is governed by the respective third-party platforms’ terms.
- Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be effective when posted on our app or website. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
- Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in [Jurisdiction, e.g., Goa].
